Lower Limb & Hoof

Dissection Day For Equine Therapists

21st March (In-Person) | 22nd March (Live Virtual)

Bysshe Court Farm, Surrey, RH6 9JU

Led by Kate Granshaw BVetMed(Hons) CertAVP (EM, ESOrth)

If you treat horses' you'll understand the importance of having a rock-solid anatomical understanding you can apply on your next yard visit, this day is for you. If you're just collecting CPD hours, it isn't.

This is not a conference, you'll leave with mental 'X-ray vision' of the limb and hoof: where things actually sit, fail and adapt under load.

This isn’t passive CPD. It qualifies for 5 hours of CPD and is intended for professionals who want real depth, not just surface-level insight.

This is a small-group, veterinary-led dissection day designed to give you insight you can immediately apply in practice with horses on your caseload next week.

Recognised by IAAT.

Accredited CPD for BHS APCs.

"I honestly didn't think an online dissection class could possible teach, show and give me so much understanding and in such detail. Enough time to look at, comprehend and take in what you see. It was like being there in person. The camera angles, the mini camera within body parts, close ups were amazing. I can't wait for the next one! As a physical therapist I cannot be more thankful for this training!"

"It’s sometimes hard to get away for CE’s and dissections are not widely marketed here in the U.S. To have the opportunity to participate virtually in the dissections brings so much more opportunities to learn and reinforce education. It was affordable, visual angles were great, Dr. Kate was excellent. I’ll be recommending attendance to my students as well for future dissections!

Why We Created This Training

Most equine professionals leave anatomy training knowing what things are called, but not truly understanding how structures interact under load, where breakdown actually occurs, or why certain pathologies present the way they do.

Dissection removes guesswork.

You’ll see, in real tissue, how bone, tendon, ligament and hoof capsule relate to one another. You’ll understand why some horses struggle to stay sound, why rehab stalls, and why certain interventions succeed or fail.

That level of understanding changes how you assess, communicate, and treat.

I am an Equine Massage Therapist and was a BetaTester for the dissection demonstration of Equine Head and Neck. The experience completely exceeded my expectations! High quality tech and expert instructors that shared a wealth of knowledge. If you are an equine professional of any sort, I highly recommend attending!! My clients are all going to benefit from what I learned in this class. Thank you

for making this top notch education so accessible to us!

Hands-On, Respectful, Professional

We know dissection isn’t for everyone. This day is conducted with absolute respect for the horses we learn from. Specimens are prepared clinically, allowing you to focus on learning without shock or discomfort.

Most attendees tell us the same thing:

“Once you’re there, it just makes sense and nothing else teaches anatomy like this.”

What Makes This Different

1. Veterinary Expertise

The day is led by Kate Granshaw, a highly respected lameness and poor-performance vet with extensive clinical and FEI experience. This is insight from the field, not generic teaching.

2. Small Group

We cap sessions at 15 people. You'll see everything, ask questions freely, and engage properly

3. Fully Immersive

This isn’t death by PowerPoint. Expect discussion, clarity, and genuine light-bulb moments.

4. Learning That Continues

You’ll receive learning materials after the day and access to a private WhatsApp group to share images, reflections and follow-up questions.

Seeing the structure of the legs, and how it all connects in a 3D way was brilliant, so much better than seeing it on a page.
